LAHORE, Sept 13: The Labour Relief Campaign, a group of 28 political and social movements, plans a protest rally in the city on Sunday (Sept 19) to press the international community to waive off Pakistan’s foreign debts.

The rally will start from GPO Chowk and terminate at Charing Cross on The Mall. To make the rally a success, a meeting of all those political parties and social movements that had participated in a multi-party conference held in the city on Aug 29, will be held on Sept 16.

Twenty-eight groups have agreed to launch the movement to press the government to say ‘no’ to foreign debts and divert the funds for the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims.
