NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 2 Three armed men injured two policemen and snatched their motorcycle, mobile phones and cash on Friday morning at the Lakha -Kandiaro road.

They also injured constables Zamir Unnar and Nisar Ahmed Lashari when they offered resistance. The incident occurred when the policemen were going to their village Saeedpur after performing their duties at Kandiaro police station.

No FIR was lodged till filing of this report.

In another incident, four armed men barged into the house of Mohammad Rafique Khanzada, a cloth merchant, in Tharushah, and took away with Rs100,000, gold jewellery and other valuables.

They fled after locking his family into a room. The criminals injured the wife of Mohammad Rafique on resistance. People of the Khanzada community have staged a demonstration to protest the incident.
