Four die in Indian shelling

MUZAFFARABAD, April 13: Three women and a man were injured in the southern Kotli district of Azad Kashmir in overnight shelling by Indian troops from across the Line of Control, police said here on Saturday.

Indian forces, police said, resorted to shelling with machine guns and mortars in Tatta Pani sector in district Kotli on Friday evening. As a result, four persons — identified as Faqir Mohammad (60), son of Allah Ditta; Jannat Bibi (25), wife of Khalil; Kosar Bibi (35), wife of Fazal; and Saima Bibi (40), wife of Sharif — were injured in Goi village. They were admitted to district headquarters hospital, Kotli.
