QUETTA: Jamaat-i-Islami chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has urged the youth of Balochistan to remain hopeful despite challenges and not lose faith in their future, saying opportunities across the country were open to them.

He expressed these views while addressing a Bano Qabil programme organised by JI’s charity, al-Khidmat Foundation, in Loralai, where thousands of male and female students appeared in entry tests for free IT training courses.

The JI chief said the rulers must answer why young people were being denied opportunities for progress and why millions of children remained out of school.

He stressed that Pakistan’s Constitution made it the state’s responsibility to provide free and quality education up to matriculation level, but millions of children were still deprived of schooling.

He added that nearly 27.5 million children across the country were out of school.
