ISLAMABAD: In view of hike in prices of petroleum products in the international market, the government on Friday increased the price of petrol from Rs100.11 per litre to Rs103.97, an increase of Rs3.86.

A statement issued by the finance ministry said the price of high speed diesel was increased by Rs5, from Rs101.46 per litre to Rs106.46.

Similarly, the price of kerosene oil was increased by Rs5.97, from Rs59.32 to Rs65.29 per litre, and that of light diesel oil by Rs6.62, from Rs56.24 per litre to Rs62.86.
