LAHORE: Hamna Amjad won the third Punjab Golf Association Ladies Golf Championship with a three-day aggregate of 240 here at the PAF Skyview Golf Course on Sunday.

After three rounds of ardent golf for the ladies falling in Category ‘A’ and handicap range 0-13, Hamna, who was playing on her home turf, on the final day round of gross 80, fetched a remarkable victory which featured hardly any inaccurate shots.

Suneya Osama, also of PAF Skyview Golf Club, ended up on the second spot in the gross section with an aggregate gross score of 264. Ghazala Yasmin of Garrison and Zaib-un-Nisa of Royal Palm shared the third position.

In the race for the top positions in handicap category 14 to 24, the gross winner was Iman Ali Shah. This contest was fought out over 36 holes and Iman’s winning score was gross 150. The Second gross position went to Aisha Faizan of MGGC at 187. Zeenat Ayesha finished third with a score of 191.

The net section winner was Momina Tarrar of Royal Palm while the second net spot went to Shahnaz Moin of PSGCC while Abeeda Saleem of Defence Raya was third.

Handicap Category 25 to 36: Shehrbano Hamdani (first gross), Farnaz Bajwa (second gross), Munazza Azhar (third gross), Noor-us- Sabah (first net), Minaa Zainab (second net), Ayesha Hamid (third net).

Senior Ladies’: Fareeda Tauseef (first), Fiza Yousaf (second).

Girls’: Amina Tiwana and Laiba Ali (first), Adina Ataullah (second), Manahal Ahsan (third).
