HARIPUR: Two Afghan nationals allegedly molested a minor boy and captured the criminal act on their mobile phones in the limits of Sera e Saleh police station, police said on Monday.

Police quoted the victim, a sixth grader at a private school and hailing from Afghan refugee camp No 15, as saying that on Sunday Abdul Latif and Abdul Mateen of Afghan camp No 16 offered him a ride on their motorcycle to his residence from the city area. However, he said both the men drove him to the orchards of Gaar village where they subjected him to assault at gunpoint and filmed the act on their mobile phones, and also threatened him with dire consequences.

The boy reached home and informed his family about the incident who took him to police station.

The police said the medical examination of the victim confirmed that he was molested. The police registered a case against the accused, who are on the run.
