TAXILA: Three boys died in two incidents in Jand and Taxila police station limits on Saturday, police said.

According to police sources, Mohammad Ahtisham,12 , and Mohammad Hassan, 15, drowned in a mini dam near their village Jallwal in Jand.

Later, their bodies were retrieved by local divers and handed them to their families for burial.

In the second incident, Umer Hayat, a 10th grade student, was killed when a speeding rickshaw hit his motorcycle on Taxila-Hattar road near HMC gate.

Respective Police have registered cases and launched further investigation.

Meanwhile, six armed robbers looted a house in Model Town area in Wah Saddar police station area on Saturday.

Police sources said the robbers scaled the house of Hassan and held all the members of the house at gun point and fled with booty worth Rs2 million.

On getting information, police along with a forensic team reached the crime scene and collected evidence. A case has been registered and police have launched investigation.
