RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) on Tuesday sealed a food outlet in Saddar over unhygienic condition.

RCB spokesman Qaisar Mehmood told Dawn that the cantonment board’s food branch team visited different outlets in Saddar and Tench Bhatta and found ‘Hot and Spicy’ to be in unhygienic condition.

He said the team collected samples from 15 restaurants and dispatched them to Lahore for laboratory examination. He said action would be taken against food outlets after receiving the report from the laboratory in Lahore. He said under the law, a challan would be issued and the outlet would be sealed.
