BUNER: Body of a 20-year-old missing girl was recovered here on Tuesday.

The deceased, daughter of Mohammad Hussain of Elai village, left her house after Sehri for a madressah, but later her body was found in fields at noon, villagers said.

The police shifted the body to the district headquarters hospital, Daggar. Later, the police uploaded the picture of the girl on social media to reach her family. Following which, Gul Hussain, a brother of the deceased, and his maternal uncle, Alam Zeb, reached the hospital to collect the body.

Later, she was laid to rest in her native village.

The Daggar police registered an FIR and assigned the task to the investigation wing for tracing the killers of the girl.

According to investigation officer, the deceased girl left home for a madressah early on Tuesday, but didn’t return home.

The relatives said they came to know about her when they saw her pictures shared on social media.

The investigation officer confided to Dawn that both the brother and uncle of the girl would be included in the investigation process to reach the real killers.
