MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi says he is not aware of the reasons behind the resignation of Asad Umar as finance minister.
Talking to media here on Thursday, Qureshi said there was no grouping in the PTI. He said there were some elements who were spreading the rumours of presidential system in the country.
He said the prime minister had the power to assign responsibilities to anyone. He said Asad Umar was a prominent figure of the PTI team.
“Economic situation requires tough decisions and the government has taken tough decisions for the country,” he said.

The so-called "democracy" in current form in Pakistan is not going to provide justice to common citizens. Time to overhaul the entire system.

Obviously, PM Imran Khan is unhappy about the performance of some of his minsters that led him to make drastic decisions and replace them. This is part of politics and good leaders make such hard decisions to achieve desired results and, in my opinion, PM has acted correctly and given others a chance to prove themselves and produce tangible results. As a nation, we have uphill challenge ahead of us and we should be united against corruption, corrupt mafia, anti peace and prosperity agents both within and without and, support our honerable army, judiciary and government. Otherwise, we will all be answerable to our people, who will blame us for failure to act wisely and handle our problems diligently. (Gharib Awam ki Awaz).

Nobody is indispensible - look what happened to Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari, as both believed their corrupt practices and dynasty will continue. So, expect more drastic changes in the future that will help to dispel any obstacles in the way of progress and, such individuals who think they are indispensible. (Gharib Awam ki Awaz).

In every country ministers are given different portfolios and in Pakistan the opposition is making a big victory. They are not qualified to be in politcs. They are only in politics to loot the country which Imran Khan will not allow,
