LAHORE: A Dolphin Squad official has suffered injuries after a stray kite string fell on him in the jurisdiction of the Factory Area.

Identified as Awais Munawwar, 24, the police official was immediately shifted to a hospital with wounds on his neck.

A police source said he was going back to his home on Thursday on his motorcycle after doing his duty. As he reached Walton Road, the string of a stray kite cut his neck. The condition of Munawwar was stated to be serious.
