CHARSADDA: Tangi police recovered a big quantity of explosives during a raid on a hideout in Qaroon Dheri area of Tangi here on Tuesday.

The police, on the orders of DSP Tangi and DPO Irfanullah Khan, conducted a raid on a deserted house in Qaroon Dheri area and recovered explosives, which included 20 bundles of safety fuse, 39 dynamites, and 1,000 detonators.

The raiding party was led by SHO Gulsheed Khan. The police have lodged report of the recovery and started investigations. They have also set up a special team to arrest the accused persons.

Meanwhile, the police arrested several suspects in connection with the recovery of explosives.
