Sindh futsal trials held

TANDO JAM: More than 100 budding futsal players from across the province took part in the two-day trials to select the Sindh team for the National Futsal Championship, which is to be held in Islamabad from Oct 19.

The trials were organised by Sindh Futsal Association at the Sindh Agricultural University campus and were watched by selection head Anwar Khanzada and members Sagheer Rajput, Arif Baloch and Faheem Qureshi.

Futsal players from Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Tando Allahyar, Tando Jam, Badeen, Jamshoro, Nawabshah and Sanghar took part in trials.

A week-long camp will be set up after shortlisting the players and a final squad will be named after the conclusion of camp, Khanzada announced.
