MANSEHRA: A student of a government vocational centre in Sajawal Sharif area was killed by a classmate over unknown reasons here on Saturday.

The injured, Owais Ahmad, was rushed to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, but was pronounced dead by doctors.

Mohammad Zahid, a teacher of the centre, told mediapersons at the hospital that they were unaware as to what led to the killing of the first year student.

The body was handed over to family after completion of medico-legal procedure.

The city police after lodging FIR started investigation to ascertain the exact cause behind the murder.

Police said the suspect, Mohammad Naseer, had fled the scene.
