ISLAMABAD: Seven senior officers were shuffled in the capital police on Friday.
The transfer and posting of the superintendents working in operations, security and logistic wings were made by the chief commissioner Islamabad on the recommendation of the inspector general of the police, a statement said.
SP Mohammad Hassan Iqbal was transferred from the office of Secretariat Security Group (SSG) and given the charge of SSP logistics while SP Mohammad bin Ashraf was transferred from the office of SSP logistics and appointed as the additional SP security operation division.
SP Zubair Ahmed Sheikh was appointed as the SP investigation after his transfer from the office of SP City.
Retired Capt Syed Zeeshan Haider was posted out from the office of the SP investigation and given the charge of the SP SSG.
SP Ahmad Iqbal was appointed as the SP City after his transfer from the Supreme Court while SP Hassam Iqbal, working as an additional SP Security Operation Division, was appointed as the SP Rural Zone.
SP Dr Mustafa Tanweer was transferred from the Rural Zone and appointed as the SP operation Safe City.
