PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa establishment department on Thursday directed the revenue department to suspend seven officials and initiate disciplinary proceedings against them.

The establishment department’s section officer E-II in a letter addressed to the Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) noted that a report was submitted to the chief secretary office on Jan 16 about inspection of revenue work with respect to revenue guidelines to assess compliance and implementation.

The letter also asked the revenue department to immediately share draft charge sheet and statements of allegations against Ijazur Rehman (PMS BS-18) the then additional deputy commissioner, Charsadda, and Yousaf Ali (PMS BS-17) additional assistant commissioner-II Tangi, Charsadda, with the establishment department for initiation of disciplinary proceedings against them under the Efficiency and Disciplinary Rules 2011.

The letter asked the SMBR to suspend Haripur tehsildar Ali Sher Khan, naib tehsildar Fazlur Rehman, tehsildar Chota Lahor Sajjad Khan and patwaris Dil Nawaz and Amir Shahzad.
