KARACHI: A sparkling half-century from Adnan Qaiser inspired Malir Cantt Gymkhana to a four-wicket victory against Young Pak Flag CC in a latest fixture of the KCCA Zone-IV Abdul Rauf Malik Cricket Tournament at the Pak Star Ground here on Wednesday.

After bowling out Young Pak Flag CC for 174, Malir Cantt Gymkhana reached 177-6 in 25.4 overs as Adnan scored 71 with the aid of 10 boundaries and one six.

Slow left-armer Babar Ali bowled claimed four wickets for 36 runs.

Spinning duo of Noman Ahmed and Waqas Bin Tariq shared all 10 Friend Gymkhana wickets to enable Youngster Gymkhana to seal a six-wicket win.

Leg-spinner Noman grabbed 5-23 and off-spinner Waqas took 5-34 as Friend Gymkhana were shot out for 100 in 21.4 overs.

Anas Fahim bludgeoned a quickfire 85 to set up a comprehensive 81-run success for Millat CC versus Sir E.H. Jaffer CC.

Anas hammered six sixes and three fours in his blazing 43-ball unbeaten innings as Millat CC posted 221-8 in the stipulated 40 overs.

Slow left-armer Irfan Shah then snared 4-27 to send Sir E.H. Jaffer CC crashing to 140 all out in 29.3 overs.
