PESHAWAR: The 8th annual Khyber-Karachi vintage and classic car rally will start from tomorrow (Friday).

Talking to mediapersons here, Chief Executive Officer Classic Land Rover Peshawar Asim Durrani said after seven years of successful journey, the 8th vintage ad classic car rally would this time be kicking off from Khyber to Karachi instead of Karachi to Khyber.

He said vintage car enthusiasts from all over the country would reach Peshawar today (Thursday) with cars like Rolls Royce, Cadillac, Ferrari, Porsche, Mustang and Mercedes of old models.

Driving to Michani Post in Torkham from Balahisar Fort as guests of the Frontier Corps, the participants of the car rally would start off from Khyber Rifle Mess in Landi Kotal on Friday afternoon, he added.

The event is being organised by Vintage and Classic Car Club of Pakistan, Mr Durrani said, adding on Nov 25, a vintage and classic car show would be held at Peshawar Services Club from 10am to 3.30pm and about 80 cars and jeeps would be taking part in the show.
