53.10 pass FA, FSc exam in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA, July 31: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Gujranwala, announced the results of intermediate Part-I and Part-II annual examinations 2003 here on Thursday.

Controller examination Prof Dr Mumtaz Ahmad Awan said that out of 50,979 candidates appeared in the examination, 27,072 were declared successful, showing a pass percentage of 53.10.

The overall first position was clinched by Shakeel Ahmad (roll No 55353) of Superior Science College, Gujranwala, by obtaining 951 marks. Muhammad Rehan Arif (56342) of Government Jinnah Islamia College, Sialkot, and Qaiser Nadeem Khan (55657) of Government Zamindara Degree College, Gujrat, shared the second position with 933 marks. While Muhammad Sufian (86683) of Punjab College of Information and Technology for Boys, Gujranwala, got the third slot with 930 marks.

In Pre-Medical Group (Boys): Noman Dawood (51339) of National Science College, Gujranwala, secured the first position with 925 marks, Ahmad Kaleem (51402) of Superior Science College, Gujranwala, got the second slot with 906 marks and Muhammad Fahad Shahzad Shaukat (51374) of Quaid-i-Azam Divisional Public School, Gujranwala, bagged the third position with 903 marks.

In Pre-Medical Group (Girls): Iram Hanila (50559) of Government College for Women, Margazar Colony, Gujrat, clinched the first position by getting 923 marks, Gohar Khan (50666) of Government College for Women, Satellite Town, Gujranwala, got the second position by securing 922 marks and Nirma Iqtidar (50867) of National Science College for Girls, Gujranwala, got the third position by obtaining 919 marks.

In Pre-Engineering Group (Boys): Shakeel Ahmad (55353) of Superior Science College, Gujranwala, got the first position with 951 marks, while Muhammad Rehan Arif of Government Islamia Jinnah College, Sialkot, (56343) and Qaiser Nadeem Khan of Government Zamindara Degree College, Gujrat, (55657) shared the second position with 933 marks. Haroon Ijaz (57931) of National Science College for Boys, Gujranwala, got the third position with 901 marks.

In Pre-Engineering Group (Girls): Sobia Arshad (54480) of Punjab College of Information and Technology for Girls, Gujranwala, bagged the first position by getting 896 marks, Shumaila Munir (54036) of Sialkot College of Information secured the second position by obtaining 883 marks and Kiran Shahzadi (54454) of National Science College, Gujranwala, clinched the third position by securing 881 marks.

In General Group (Boys): Muhammad Awais Chaudhry (70667) of Government College, Gujranwala, got the first slot with 822 marks, private candidate Usman Shaukat of Chani Wazira village (Hafizabad) obtained the second slot with 800 marks and Muhammad Ashraf (71871) of Government Inter College Boys, Zafarwal, got the third position with 787 marks.

In General Group (Girls): Bushra Akbar (58012) and Aisha Akbar (85016) of Punjab Science College of Commerce for Girls, Gujranwala, shared the first position by getting 887 marks each. Both the position holders are sisters. While Shiaba Bashir (61170) of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Sialkot, stood second with 886 marks, Amina Safdar Cheema (62516) of Government Girls for Women Satellite Town, Gujranwala, got the third position with 862 marks.

In General Science Group (Boys): Muhammad Sufian (86683) of Punjab College of Information and Technology, Gujranwala, stood first with 930 marks, Wahab Ahmad (88210) of Government Murray College, Sialkot, got the second position with 914 marks and Yaser Mahmood Zafar (87576) of Gujrat College of Commerce stood third with 887 marks.

In General Science Group (Girls): Aisha Shahid (89954), Sidra Kokab (89952) and Khadeejatul Kubra (89937) of Punjab College of Information and Technology, Gujranwala, got the first three positions by securing 926, 920 and 895 marks, respectively.

In Commerce Group: Shahid Bashir (58061), Mubasher Javed (85085) and Hafiz Ahmad (85063) of Punjab College of Commerce, Gujranwala, bagged the first, the second and the third positions by obtaining 853, 846 and 840 marks, respectively.
