LAHORE: US Consul General Yuriy Fedkiw called on Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rana Sanaullah here on Friday.

In the meeting that lasted for more than half an hour, Rana Sana stressed upon exchange of the latest technology and techniques to curb terrorism.

He said the country had got rid of the menace of terrorism with the collaborated efforts of armed forces and civil law enforcing agencies.

He also told the diplomat that Indian atrocities in Kashmir were deteriorating law and order situation in the subcontinent and that the Kashmir issue needed world community’s attention.

The minister also briefed him about developmental, political and regional situation of the province.

Mr Fedkiw elaborated Pak-American historical relations and praised the steps taken by the Punjab government for the betterment of the masses.
