DAVOS: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday informed the leaders of various countries about atrocities perpetrated by the Indian forces in India-held Kashmir on innocent people who were demanding their right to self-determination.

During his meetings with his Sri Lankan counterpart Ranil Wickremesinghe, Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lfven and the Swiss Confederation’s President Doris Leuthard on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, he said Pakistan desired to resolve all outstanding issues with India, including that of Jammu and Kashmir, through a comprehensive dialogue.

He said the Indian forces had resorted to escalating tension on the Line of Control only to distract the world attention away from their grave human rights violations in India-held Kashmir.

The Swedish leader shared Pakistan’s concerns over the situation.
