The selection board of Pakistan Army has approved promotion of seven major generals to the rank of lieutenant general.

According to a handout issued by the ISPR the officers recommended for promotion to the rank of lieutenant general held the following ranks:

Director General Welfare and Rehabilitation at General Headquarters
