NOWSHERA: A woman and her four-year-old son were killed allegedly over a domestic issue as she had reportedly filed a case in court seeking divorce from her husband.

Official sources said Azakhel police station had been informed by local people that two unidentified bodies of a woman and a child were lying in Pir Paye forest. Police rushed to the spot and took the bodies into custody.

The bodies were brought to the district headquarters hospital, Nowshera, where they were identified.

Police sources said later they were informed that the woman had filed case in court to take divorce from her husband, who is a resident Charsadda, and that she had been living with her parents for last two years. Police registered the case and started investigations.
