SIALKOT: The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Wednesday expressed concern over the inordinate delay in payments of duty drawback, income and sales tax refunds claims by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Addressing a meeting of Sialkot trade bodies, SCCI President Majid Raza Bhutta said the nonpayment of refunds claims to exporters was leading Sialkot industries to Sialkot industries.
Mr Bhutta demanded trade and export-related incentives for industries and hurdle-free measures by the government for the promotion of exports.
