MULTAN: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested a man in the pension fraud case on Thursday for embezzling Rs90 million, of a Rs450 million pension fund scam, from the National Bank of Pakistan’s Muzaffargarh branch, according to an official handout.

The Multan NAB authorities arrested Nazar Abbas Mohana, a gardener of the bank, who allegedly embezzled Rs90 million from the pensioners funds.

The bureau has arrested 11 people in the scam who belonged to the Muzaffargarh Accounts Office and the bank.

In the last three months, NAB has arrested 22 people in different corruption cases.
