ISLAMABAD: The government has extended the date for filing of income tax for all types of taxpayers until the end of next month.

FBR Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Iqbal on Friday said that salaried persons, individual, AOPs and companies can now file their tax returns until Oct 31.

The date was extended to facilitate taxpayers who could not find ample time for filing their returns in September due to Eidul Azha holidays and the fact that a number of taxpayers and their consultants were in Saudi Arabia for Hajj.
