KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has summoned a Sindh Assembly session beginning on Sept 21 in which besides consideration of pending bills, some new bills are also likely to be introduced.

On the first day of the session two recently elected PPP MPAs in the by-elections from PS-14 Jacobabad Aurangzeb Panhwar and from PS-127 Karachi Murtaza Baloch are likely to be administered oath of office by Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.

The other items on the agenda include an adjournment motion of Nand Kumar of the PML-F in which he will discuss the issue of a 10-year-old girl who was reportedly raped by two youths in a home where she used to get tuition. This incident occurred in the limits of the Lucky Ghulam Shah police station on July 26, but the police were reluctant to register an FIR and arrest the culprits.
