KARACHI: The Defence Day Cup Defence Day Cup figures prominently in a five-race card of the Gymkhana race meeting which resumes after a fortnight break at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

It is pertinent to mention that last week’s races were cancelled due to rains in the city.

Five horses will battle it out for honours in the cup which will be run over five furlongs.

All in all, 47 horses have entered in five races of the days programme barring last minute withdrawal.

The first race gets into action at 3.30pm.
