ISLAMABAD: Ample opportunity should be provided to youth to create literature, which is vital for preserving national heritage.

This was stated by National History and Literary Heritage Division, Ministry Secretary Mohsin S. Haqqani at a ceremong held to distribute shields and certificates among coordinators and participants of four workshops organised by Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL).

He said the ability to create literature can be enhanced by arranging such workshops.

Students and coordinators of the four workshops were also present in the ceremony.

Chairman PAL Dr. Mohammad Qasim Bughio while informing about the workshops said that PAL had arranged literary training about fiction, poetry, TV drama and children literature.

“During workshops not only children were given awareness but also provided practical opportunity to learn about them,” he said.

He said that students learned a lot from the coordinators and hoped that the training will be helpful in their future life.
