DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Tehsil Bar Council of Jampur on Wednesday passed a resolution demanding immediate arrest of murderers of a man and withdrawing of FIRs against 138 nominated and 1,300 unidentified protesters of Dajil.

Jampur bar president Khalid Habib also announced holding of a strike on Thursday (today) to protest the registration of cases against members of tehsil bar and innocent dwellers of Dajil.

Meanwhile, traders of Saddar Bazaar, Dajil, also announced a shutter down strike in protest against the failure of police in arresting murderers of Khadim Husain.

The killing of Khadim Husain on resistance by robbers triggered violent protests as residents had besieged the Dajil police station and torched five vehicles of police in protest.
