2 electrocuted

CHAKWAL: Two persons died after they received electric shock in separate incidents here, sources said on Wednesday.

Choa Saidan Shah administration had ordered evacuation of a market on Tuesday night in anticipation of heavy rain as they feared that rainwater might inundate the market.

Haji Malik Mohammad, 38, rushed to his shop and started collecting the goods. After shifting them to safer place he came to close the shutter of the shop. As soon as he touched the shutter he received a severe electric shock and died on way to hospital.

In the second incident in Chhapar Bazaar, a young shopkeeper was electrocuted when he touched the door of refrigerator door and died on the spot.
