LAHORE: Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed has held the Punjab government and Lesco responsible for the seven deaths in Lahore. He also regretted that the Orange Line Train had already taken some three dozen lives and demanded that the government should abandon such “killer projects” immediately.

The opposition leader said that there was nothing like government or administration in Punjab and added that the whole government machinery was serving the chief minister. He said the rain in Lahore had already exposed the government. He said that he would submit a resolution in the Punjab Assembly on the loss of seven lives in Lahore.

SAADIA: PTI MPA Saadia Suhail has assailed the Punjab government for it failure to check rising incidents of kidnapping of children. She said the law enforcement agencies had failed to nab the kidnappers. She demanded the chief minister to ensure the recovery of kidnapped children.

YASMIN: PTI Chairman’s adviser Dr Yasmin Rashid says the party is making a simple demand of accountability and justice in the case of Panama Leaks. “If the government accepts this simple demand, the opposition will not come out on roads.”
