Eid holidays announced

ISLAMABAD / KARACHI: The Ministry of Interior has notified four public holidays from July 5 to 8 (Tuesday to Friday) on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.

The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed for public dealings on July 1 (Friday).

All banks, development finance institutions and micro-finance banks will observe July 1 as the bank holiday, but their employees will attend the office.

The SBP had announced on Monday that banks would re­main open on Saturdays (July 2 and 9) to serve the public.
