LAHORE: Pakistan tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi is gearing up to represent Pakistan in the ongoing Wimbledon Tennis Championship in London.

This will be right-handed tennis player's 11th appearance in the grass courts' event and 36th in the Grand Slam events.

Aisam will partner with Brazil's Marcelo Demoliner for the Doubles event.

"I will do my best to put up an impressive show along with my partner and I look forward to an exciting challenge," he told APP from London on Tuesday.

The 36-year-old's best performance in Wimbledon came in 2010 when he reached the quarter-final stage in 2010.

The Lahore-born turned professional in 1998. Since then he has bagged 11 career titles.

His best Grand Slam performance was back in 2010 when he played the US Open final alongside Rohan Bopanna against Bryan brothers.
