KARACHI: Opener Nadeem Javed slammed an unbeaten half-century to help Eaton CC upset Royal CC by three wickets as two more matches were decided in the third Dollar East T20 Premier League here at the Hill Park Ground on Wednesday.

In the day’s first fixture, Omar CC clinched a five-wicket success against Karachi University.

Royal CC rode Mirza Adnan Baig’s undefeated 55 to collect 171-4. Opener Umar Imtiaz and Abul Saad each made 40. Eaton CC, in reply, reached the target in 19.1 overs with Nadeem striking eight boundaries and three sixes in his 42-ball innings as his side reached 172-7.

Karachi University totalled a modest 109-8 before Omar CC got home in 18.5 overs.
