KARACHI: At least four sustained minor injuries in a clash between two student groups in the Dawood University of Engineering and Technology on Thursday, the Jamshed Quarters police said.

The activists belonging to the Imamia Students Organisation and the Punjabi Students Association clashed on the varsity premises in which clubs and stones were used resulting in injuries to four students, the police added.

The injured students were discharged from the Civil Hospital Karachi after first medical aid.

Jamshed Quarters SHO Mumtaz Husain said that when the police arrived at the hospital, the injured students had already left after first medical aid. He said no one had approached the police for lodging a case.
