PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Monday notified major reshuffle in the police department.

According to a notification issued by establishment department, Salahud Din Khan, a BPS-20 officer currently serving as deputy inspector general of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), has been transferred and posted as additional inspector general of Special Branch on promotion of Shaukat Hayat Khan to BPS-22 and subject to further posting.

Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed, a BPS-20 officer currently serving as regional police officer of Kohat, has been transferred and posted as AIG investigation at Central Police Office (CPO).

Akhtar Hayat Khan, a BPS-20 officer serving as RPO of Hazara, has been transferred and posted as RPO of Kohat while Mohammad Saeed Wazir, a BPS-20 officer serving as RPO of Mardan, has been transferred and posted as RPO of Hazara region.

Mohammad Tahir, a BPS-20 officer serving as RPO of Bannu, has been transferred and posted as RPO of Mardan region.

Mohammad Ali Khan, a BPS-19 officer currently serving as DIG inquiries and inspection at CPO, has been transferred and posted as RPO of Bannu.

Abdul Ghafoor Afridi, a BPS-19 officer serving as RPO of Dera Ismail Khan, has been transferred and posted as DIG inquiries and inspection.

Sher Akbar, a BPS-19 officer serving as district police officer of Abbotabad, has been transferred and posted as RPO of Dera Ismail Khan.
