BOAO: Federal Minister for Planning, Reform and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that Pakistan being a frontline state in war against terrorism is braving the challenge of countering terrorists and it stands by victims of terrorist attacks across the globe.

Speaking at a session on the rise of crowdfunding at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2016 on Thursday, he said that Pakistan believed in equal opportunities of economic development for countries as a tool to combat terrorism and paving the way for peace.

He agreed with Asian leaders who had said that the current wave of terrorist attacks could not be attributed to a “clash of civilisations” but was triggered because of geo-politics.
