SBI, SBC sign MoU to promote investment

KARACHI: The Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) and the Swiss Business Council (SBC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote investment and trade in the province, said a press release on Thursday.

The agreement would explore potential opp­­o­­rt­unities for alliance of public-private partnership by developing linkages bet­w­­­een investors from Sindh and Switzerland.

The SBI will establish a Pak-Swiss Facilitation Desk (PSFD) at its office. PSFD would carry out activities inter alia facilitate Swiss companies, look after matters of trade and investment between Sindh, Pakistan and Switzerland and other ancillary functions.

New data centre solutions are aimed at building future-ready enterprises and workforce, said a press release.
