ISLAMABAD: The Elec-tion Commission of Pakistan (ECP) decided on Thursday to hold re-polling at two stations for internally displaced persons (IDPs) for the National Assembly constituency NA-39 (Tribal Area-IV) on March 6.

The decision was taken at a meeting which reviewed the law and order situation in Hangu. Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) retired Justice Sardar Mohammad Raza was in the chair.

The election commissioner said the decision had been made in compliance with the judgment of the Abbottabad Election Tribunal issued on May 20, 2014, and Peshawar High Court’s ruling of June 25, 2015.

Members of the ECP, secretary ECP, commissioner of Kohat division, political agent of Orakzai Agency, deputy commissioner and DPO of Hangu and senior officers of the election commission attended the meeting.

The political agent suggested that polling stations may be set up at Government High School in Mohammad Khwaja area.
