PESHAWAR: Peshawar Zalmi have started a talent hunt programme all over the KP province and the first coaching clinic in this regard was held here at Peshawar’s Arbab Niaz Stadium, the historic Test venue.

Peshawar Zalmi’s Director Cricket, Mohammad Akram, conducted the camp where he was joined by Pakistan stalwarts including former captain Rashid Latif, former Test leg-spinner Abdul Qadir and former Test batsman and selector Basit Ali.

The Peshawar Zalmi Foundation plans to conduct three or four talent hunt clinics before the first edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) that will be held in Dubai and Sharjah from Feb 4.

The training programmes are planned for Mardan and Swabi (tentative) later this month.
