Neglected Lakki Marwat

Published November 30, 2015

LAKKI Marwat is one of the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is a backward and neglected area because of the khanans/nawabs and exploiters in the garb of mullahs.

When a notorious person, with a pocketful of money, wishes to be a humanitarian, he joins a religio-political party whose leadership stamps him with a fatwa as an innocent person.

They win election easily because of traditional politics and religious exploitation.

These ‘religious’ exploiters have put the whole district in a situation in which one does not find a way out.

Hope something happens miraculously so that we may also be able to enjoy the benefits of modern life.
