Jos Buttler hit the fastest one-day hundred for England while opener Jason Roy notched a maiden century to lift England to 355-5 in the fourth and final day-night international against Pakistan in Dubai.
Buttler smashed medium-pacer Anwar Ali for his eighth six to complete his third one-day century off just 46 balls -- also the joint-seventh fastest one-day hundred -- to help England score 129 in the final ten overs.
Buttler improved his own record of a 61-ball hundred -- the previous fastest hundred for England -- made against Sri Lanka at Lord's in May last year.
In all Buttler, who finished with 116 not out from 52 deliveries, clobbered eight sixes and ten boundaries to pulverise Pakistan who are seeking to level the series after falling behind 2-1.
Buttler's rampaging batting overshadowed opener Roy's 117-ball 102 after England, who won the toss and batted, thrived on a batting-friendly pitch at Dubai stadium.
Roy added 140 for the second wicket with Joe Root (71) to set an ideal platform for Buttler.
Roy took a single off leg-spinner Yasir Shah to complete the three-figure mark off 113 balls but two runs later was caught off the same bowler.
Roy, whose previous best of 67 came against Australia at Southampton in September this year, hit eight boundaries and a six during his brilliant knock.
Root ably supported Roy, hitting three boundaries and two sixes during his run-a-ball innings before he was stumped off Pakistan's skipper Azhar Ali who finished with 2-26.
Roy and fellow opener Alex Hales had laid the platform for England as they took the score to 54 in the 12th over when lanky paceman Mohammad Irfan had Hales caught in the deep off a miscued hook shot.
But it was Buttler who lifted the tempo, reaching 50 off just 30 balls and taking 22 off Anwar's 46th over in a demonstration of clean hitting.
Pakistan had brought in Shah, who missed the third game with a knee injury, while opener Ahmed Shehzad got his first chance in the series. They replaced Zafar Gohar and Iftikhar Ahmed.
England remained unchanged for the third time in the series.

Im hopeing and preying this to be the last odi game for Mr tuk tuk Ali I have feeling Pakistan will lose this game but losing is better then a win as we may see few changes in odi team for the future from my opinion Pcb should drop Tuk tuk ali, Mohamaad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Iftikhar, bring in Harris Sohail, Umar Akmal only of he behaves and Shoaib maqsood.

I feel Pity over Waqar Younis, who has to include Ahmed Shahzad in the team on the pressure of some people. Tell you what, he will luckily perform today and get some runs on the board and give many of people the chance to curse Waqar again. If he didn't perform Waqar would still be criticized for bringing him Back in the team over the pressure of some Old players. I wonder How hard it is to create a win win situation. May be one situation that could save him from criticism is if A.Shahzad will not perform but still Pakistan could manage to win the match. Waqar Bhai all my best wishes with you and Team Pakistan.

Zafar Gohar the only player of Pakistan who looked good in third ODI has been left out. I also think something suspicious is going on with Pakistan cricket. Also where is Harris Sohail. He has an ODI average of over 44 runs but he has been dropped from the ODI on the pretext of fitness. During last month he has played in national T20 championship with full fitness.

Go Waqar GO !!!! - we need a refreshed management and team, by the way playing Afridi in the T20s will be suicide. When we won the T20 world cup he was batting a 3 - now he comes in at 6 or 7 - that just shows how much confidence he himself has lost

Bye bye mr waqar younis. I personally prefer test cricket over pyjama cricket. But for what its worth most Pakistanis prefer limited overs cricket and if thats what your team puts up for a coach earning 16k, he needs to go. Youre telling me he has improved the bowling? Lol. Thats more than the PM of England. England hammered Pakistan and they are a fantastic team, anyone saying they are mediocre is just sour. Pakistan are rightly where they are in the odi rankings.

if indo-pak series is a cancelled, than the saddest person whould be rohit sharma. after 209 (2013), 269(2014) , 300 was possible with this pak attack, to which even enagland are also making hay. Of all the teams Englnd, England I cant beleive.

Just look at the fitness level of our players and of England, see the age difference....i mean look at this, we have players in every street and can't find 10 players?
I bet you get the army 11 players and they will win this match they have that level of fitness and these jokers play one match and get injure!
Nawaz sharif needs to take a notice of this, fire sharyar and waqar younis, make new fitness level and strictly adhere to it.....enough is enough, these players just want money they dont play for their country.....

Now both the Openers will play upto their maximum potential i-e 30 or 40 runs @ strike rate of 70 and by that time game would have been slipped out of hands ..... and no one will blame them !! None of these batsmen can score @100% strike rate consistently in the whole innings, then how can Pakistan win.

Better performance in batting today but bowling was really bad. Still need anchor player in batting and surely missing genuine all-rounder as I don't consider Anwar Ali and Wahab Riaz genuine all-rounders at international level.

Fast bowlers don't make good coaches. I can't recollect a fast bowling coach in any team. Waqar has confirmed this logic. Sethi finds some commonalities with him perhaps. That is unfortunate because Sethi is a spoilsport by nature, so Waqar is digging his own grave while Team is already burried in one day format.
