DUBAI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif offers condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at the Zabeel Palace on the death of his son.—APP

DUBAI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif extended on Sunday his condolence to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Pre­­sident and Prime Min­ister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, on the death of his son Sheikh Rashid bin Moham­med bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The prime minister accompanied by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Special Assis­tant Tariq Fatemi and Spe­cial Envoy to PM for Over­seas Invest­­ment Javed Malik arrived at the Za’abeel Palace in the evening.

A number of key figures of the ruling family, including Sheikh Saif al Nahyan, Sheikh Hamdan bin Moham­med, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammad Al Maktoum were present during the meeting.

Mr Sharif’s brief visit was an expression of solidarity and deep love of the leadership and people of Pakistan.
