MUZAFFARABAD: A public sector financial institution here on Friday donated 20 sophisticated wheelchairs to Muzaffarabad Physical Rehabilitation Centre (MPRC), serving physically challenged persons from across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and adjoining areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The handing over of wheelchairs by National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) regional chief, Tabraiz Butt, to the MPRC director, Dr Bilal Zafar, took place at a ceremony on the premises of the facility here. Commissioner Muzaffarabad Division, Ghulam Bashir Mughal was also present.

Speaking on the occasion, the NBP regional chief appreciated the performance of MPRC and assured that his institution would continue to support it in future.

NBP, he said, had been providing support to such institutions and social organisations which were rendering humanitarian services.
