Don’t get wrong ideas. Resham is not suffering from a backache. She’s back in films after eight or nine years. The actress can be seen in a movie titled Swarangi. It is a film with a strong social message. As to why it took Resham so long to reappear on the silver screen, if news reports are anything to go by, the actress is of the view that when she sensed that quality films weren’t being made in the country, she stopped acting in movies. And now that Lollywood (or is it Kollywood?) is on a resurgent path, she’s resumed working.

Hmm… to be honest, the revival of Pakistani cinema hasn’t yet begun. Still, welcome back Resham.
