MUZAFFARABAD: A man was killed in firing Indian troops from across the Line of Control in Madarpur sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
Mohammad Akhtar, 27, was loading sand onto a tractor trolley in Kakuta village when a bullet hit him in the neck, deputy commissioner of Poonch Masoodur Rehman told Dawn by phone. He died when being taken to a hospital, he added.
