LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Punjab Organiser Chaudhry Sarwar on Sunday met Ali Hamza, who earned second position in matriculation examination while running his fruit stall in Daska, and announced an award of £5,000 as well as a title of “Star of Pakistan’ by an organisation, Pakistan Achievement Awards.

Ali Hamza met Sarwar in his office on Sunday where Pakistan Achievement Awards (UK) chairman A Haq and others were present.

Mr Sarwar said the Punjab rulers should invest more in education and health instead of using funds to gain political mileage. He regretted that the rulers were focusing on their political agenda instead of creating opportunities for the youth.

He said the rulers had not been able to priortise the issues and people’s woes were multiplying every day, adding that the masses were disappointed with the incumbent government.

The PTI leader said the PTI would invest maximum funds in education and health to put the country on the road to progress.
