LAHORE: Law enforcement agencies arrested five suspected terrorists involved in deadly twin suicide blasts at Catholic and Christ churches in Youhanabad this year.

Police said that law enforcement agencies had also recovered weapons, explosive material and detonators from their possession.

The arrested suspects facilitated the suicide bombers in carrying out the deadly terrorist attacks, which claimed 15 lives and injured more than 70 people.

The law enforcement agencies handed over the arrested suspects to Lahore police which took them to some undisclosed location for interrogation. The arrested suspects had links with a banned organisation, the sources added.
